It is not necessary to have overwhelming or large office pranks to surprise your fellow co-worker. Use of simple ideas can make pranks successful. For instance, you can play a prank on your PA by placing her stapler in a jelly mould. Another effective way is to employ computer pranks. You can create incriminating folders on your co-workers desktop, take a snapshot of the desktop, delete the folders, and make the snapshot the wallpaper of the desktop. It will look like an actual desktop and you can have fun watching your colleague desperately trying to remove those folders in vain.

However, funny office pranks should be used in a place and time when people can take it sportingly. There have been instances where people complained about these kinds of jokes and it didn’t work out well. People have been charged for playing practical jokes on their colleagues and in some cases have been suspended.
