April Fool’s Day Phone Pranks
April Fools’ Day phone pranks are a common affair in offices, colleges, and even households that often bring fresh air to the environment. They help in creating better bonds among the colleagues, friends, and family members. April Fool’s Day hone pranks are the most common to tease your friends and family while quietly enjoying the effect those pranks have on them. One of the most common telephone pranks to play on your loved ones is to simply put a small piece of tape on the victim’s phone hook and then go into the other room to give the said phone number a call. Just see and enjoy the puzzled reaction when the person picks up the phone, but the phone still goes on ringing!
The history of the fools’ day dates back to a few centuries though how exactly it came in to vogue and gained popularity is not exactly known. According to some historians the reference to April Fools’ Day can also be found in as early as the 1500s. It was during the 18th century that the concept gained popularity though it was already in practice in Europe by that time. Gradually, the tradition of April Fools’ Day pranks and fun were related to the Fools’ Day. With the invention of the office, April fool’s Day, phone pranks soon followed.
With the passage of time, the Fools’ Day became part of our culture and playing April Fools’ Day pranks became an integral part of the day. All Fool’s Day, as it is popularly called is celebrated on the first of April, though history says that the celebration started on the first day of spring. Among the many April Fools’ Day pranks, telephone pranks are very common among colleagues and friends. It’s a day when you can feel mischievous and the others won’t mind!
One of the other telephone pranks include writing down a small message to a friend or a colleague or a relative with a name and a telephone number – which incidentally will belong to the zoo- on a piece of paper and request a call back. It will be amazing to watch the reaction that the person will have when he realizes what he has walked into. These kinds of April Fools’ Day pranks are best done on a co–worker in the office as you will have a bit of fun at his cost! An even better idea is to play these telephone pranks on someone who has an air about himself.
Another one of the telephone pranks that is often played is the three-way conference call where you call two different people who don’t know each other. You let them talk, while you mute your telephone and listen to the conversation going on between them. They will keep saying-‘you called me NO, you called me!’ back at each other. After a while before they could hang up, just sneak into the conversation and pronounce April Fools! April Fools’ Day pranks are great to play on anybody and to get a laugh at someone else’s expense. However, these pranks can be fun only if they amuse others.
